New Website

Based on our previous post, we realized with a new school, should come a new website. Because of this, we have created dontflywithips.com. It just redirects back to this website, as we dont see a need to create a new website all over again. We will just make it known for others that may GPS flight school rest in piss, and may we bring an end to IPS International Pilot School in North Perry Airport KHWO

CODE RED!

Looks like we were successful in shutting down the scamming business of GPS Global Pilot school located at KTMB. The premise is now occupied by another business. If it wasn’t for the help of you guys, it wouldn’t have been possible.

However, we have another problem on the loose. The con-man opened up shop, at ANOTHER FLIGHT SCHOOL! Yes, you heard that right. This punk packed his bags and moved over to KHWO, North Perry Airport, and opened up a flight school there.

The new flight school is called IPS, International Pilot School. Here is the website: ipilotschool.com

Spread the word around of this new scamming business, and do not let this punk scam any further. He may have thought he was sneaky in moving up there, but you cant hide forever Joao.

Success! Update to case, Joao Osorio ordered to pay $8000.00 to plaintiff

This is a successful update to the following case:

Joao was found guilty in trial by judge, ordered to pay the plaintiff a total of $8000.00 out of the $11,000.00 he scammed from this student. He will pay back in installments of $800.00 per month for ten months. The reason the plaintiff only sued for $8000.00 and not the full $11,000.00 is because Miami’s small claims court only lets you sue for a maximum of $8000.00. Any amount more than that would have to go though a bigger court, with lawyers, added expense, added time, etc. Miami’s small claims court is a good way for people to get their money back quickly, efficiently, and without lawyers. Think of it like Judge Judy. Those who have been burned by Osorio should seek justice in Miami’s small claims court. Instructions on filing a lawsuit can be found here:

Thief. Con artist. Scammer. Psychopath. Insane. Violent. Drug addict. Wife beater. Manipulative. Deceitful. These are just a few adjectives to describe the excuse for a human. As more and more students come forward, this website will be updated with the hopes that no one’s story is left out.

If you think everything you see here is bad, note that there are dozens of other stories of GPS, that are 10X as bad. We are limited on what we can post. Consider everything here very tame compared with what is happening behind closed doors.

If this website prevents even one person from paying Joao Osorio the next $40,000.00, we consider it a win.

Welcome to Miami’s Bernie Madoff, a Ponzi Scheme happening right under the nose of the feds.

The Typical Scam

You call in, they answer the phone, acting all happy. “What course do you want man?” As they start reeling you in like a fish.

“I want the PPL Course!” You say happily, ready to chase your dream job.

“Haha! No problem man, just sign this paper here that says “NO REFUNDS”

You sign the paper.

“HAHA NICE! Now just wire me a cheque of $XX,XXX dollars!”

You wire the money.

You are barely (if any) given any flight instruction. Returns to calls and e-mails are not answered. You are ignored constantly. Your flight on the schedule is always canceled. You beg and say “Please, just give me a refund”. “NO!” They say, angrily. “YOU SIGNED THE PAPER THAT SAYS NO REFUNDS!”. Your Visa runs out and you have to go back to your home country. You try to contact Joao from your home country, but he has blocked you.

Now you are left with no options, out of tens of thousands of dollars, not knowing what to do.

This hasn’t just happened to you. This has happened to many, many people, with hundreds of thousands of dollars taken.

This is one of many ways. Lets put an end to this.

Escaping obligations of multiple plane crashes by creating multiple corporations and abandoning the old ones, registering corps under family members’ names

Joao de Magalhaes Queiroz de Noronha Osorio SR / Joao Osorio / Joao Noronhaosorio / Johnny Ozorio / John Osorio / And all the other aliases he uses

Officer/Director of

Global Pilot School INC. / Global Pilot School CORP / Miami Flights INC / Miami Air Tours CORP / Osorio Aviation CORP / GPS Flight School CORP / GPS Global Pilot School CORP / GPS Global Pilot School INC / Asaza CORP / Land Air Sea Group CORP / South Beach Aviation CORP / IPS / International Pilot School / International Flight School /ipilotschool / ipilotschool.com And many other corporations he filed to scam people,

was operating under MULTIPLE corporations, scamming and conning students left and right. He abandons his old corporations and form new ones, starting “anew”. A most notable example of this is when he created a new corporation one day after N172LN made an emergency landing. Then N3YE crashed just TWO days after that, so he shut down that first corporation, and made a new one again! Maybe the IRS would take interest in this matter? How about the FAA?

Read below.

Newest Corporation formed:

This is a corporation he formed THE DAY AFTER N172LN’s cockpit was full of smoke in the air, making an emergency landing. Trying to start new again.

Once he created it on 08/25/21, N3YE crashed into the water THE VERY NEXT DAY. OPS! so he cant use this corporation anymore, so he told the Florida Division of Corporations that it was “Filed in Error”, and created a new one, which was shown in the beginning photo.

Joao Osorio Lost a lawsuit against a student, Lied to the Judge – Ordered to pay back the student he conned/scammed out of almost $14,000.00

Unnamed Student Pilot gets $7,000.00 Dollars stolen from him by Joao Osorio

Student pilot (John Doe) opted for a career change and sought Aviation as a choice. John Doe asked Osorio “How much would it take for me to solo?”. Osorio responded “$7,000.00”. John Doe paid Osorio $7,000.00 in cash.

At that point, John Doe was was barely flying. At most, it was just ONE (1!) hour every week or two. John Doe was furious and kept asking for a refund, in which Joao refused. “You’ll fly when I say you fly!” Joao responded.

John Doe left for a few weeks to simmer down, and then came back to Osorio and agreed with his “You’ll fly whenever I say you’ll fly” statement. Jonh Doe would go to the GPS office every single day sitting on the couch, not getting any flying lessons. This would go on for weeks. At this point, he was getting absolutely nothing. John Doe asked for a statement on what he has flown so far, and Osorio showed him a statement with bogus charges, thousands of dollars of flying hours and ground lessons that were never commenced. Again, John Doe would go to the GPS office everyday asking for a refund, with Osorio exclaiming “YOU SIGNED THE PAPER THAT SAYS NO REFUNDS!”. John Doe headed back to his home country, with Joao Osorio ignoring Whatsapp and any communications with the student, blocking him.

This is a common tactic by Joao Osorio. Making people pay upfront, having them sign a “No Refunds” paper, and then stalling their progress, never giving them flight lessons. The student pilot tries to contact Joao Osorio for refunds, only to get blocked. This goes on until the student pilots admit defeat and give up with Joao, losing thousands of dollars.

Factual Information
On November 3, 2019, about 2150 eastern standard time, a Beech 76, N6015Z, was substantially damaged during a forced landing on a road near Doral, Florida. The commercial pilot and a pilot-rated passenger were not injured. The airplane was operated by GPS Global Pilot School under the provisions of Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 as a personal flight. Night, visual meteorological conditions prevailed, and an instrument flight rules flight plan was filed for the flight. The flight originated at Hilton Head Airport (HXD), Hilton Head, South Carolina about 1840 and was destined for Miami Executive Airport (TMB), Miami, Florida.
The pilot reported that he landed at HXD with 55 to 60 gallons of fuel on board, and another 20 gallons of fuel were purchased before departing HXD. The fuel tanks were not filled to capacity at HXD. He estimated that the fuel needed to fly to TMB was 65 gallons with 15 gallons in reserve. The en route portion of the flight was uneventful. About 20 miles northwest of TMB, at 2,000 ft mean sea level (msl), the right engine “failed without warning.” An attempt to restart the engine was unsuccessful. The right engine propeller was feathered. Following some radio communication problems, contact with Miami approach was re-established and the pilot diverted to Miami International Airport (MIA), Miami, Florida. About 500 ft msl, the left engine also experienced a sudden total loss of power. The pilot was unable to restart the engine and attempted a forced landing on a road to the west of MIA. Shortly before touchdown, the left wing struck a truck on the road. The airplane came to a stop and the pilots egressed the airplane and were met by first responders.
An inspector with the Federal Aviation Administration responded to the accident site and examined the wreckage. Both wings and the fuselage were structurally damaged. The airplane was equipped with a fuel tank in each wing, with a capacity of 50 gallons useable in each tank. The tanks were drained; 1/2 cup of fuel was recovered from the left tank and 1 cup of fuel was recovered from the right tank. The inspector arrived on scene within one hour of the accident and reported that there was no fuel leaking from either tank and no fuel stains were observed on the ground under the airplane. First responders also reported that there was no fuel leaking from the airplane when they arrived on scene.Pilot Information

N8331S, a Piper Warrior II owned by GPS Global Pilot School, loses oil pressure and partial engine power on May 25th, 2021

Pilots lost oil pressure and partial engine power mid-air, they were luckily able to land on an airport nearby (Perry Foley); the cause of the event was a clogged oil line and clogged oil filter filled with metal scraps. It’s something that should have been routinely caught in their false “100-hour” inspections by a real A&P mechanic.

Final resting spot of N8331S:

N172LN, a 172 operated by GPS Flight school, makes an emergency landing in Key West on Aug 24th, 2021 after experiencing smoke in the cockpit with zero visibility

Just after takeoff from KEYW, Pilots reported massive smoke entering the cockpit. A few seconds later, hot engine oil shot out from the cowling all over the windshield and windows. With zero visibility and unable to see due to the smoke and oil, this posed a potential to be a catastrophic event. The Pilot flying had to put almost his entire body out the Cessna 172 in order to see while in the air, with pilots also trying to wipe extremely hot oil from the windshield to no avail. With some luck and skill, the pilot flying managed to land back at KEYW successfully while being greeted with medical and fire personnel.

The cause of this unfortunate event was a cracked engine block, which should have been caught during the inspections.

It’s no surprise it wasn’t caught, due to the “mechanic” they use (Rodger) who is not A&P certified and does much more than “preventative maintenance”, and holding shady maintenance records of the plane.
